Perform after hour service desk Support functions and network operations center.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of Computer Operations or Network Operations Center (NOC)
  2. At least 2 years of help desk/service desk experience
  3. At least 1 year of experience working with networking equipment
  4. At least 2 years of Windows server administration experience (Windows 2008, 2012 or 2016)
  5. Must be able to work floating night time shifts between 4 PM and 6 AM.
  6. Experience providing remote support using virtual desktop tools
  7. Broad experience using a variety of monitoring and ticket management tools

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor completion of Mainframe Daily Schedules; monitor Appworx scheduling tools running jobs for the Customer Information, Management Support, and Oracle Human Resource & Payroll systems
  2. Monitor infrastructure using various monitoring tools like Solarwinds, Lansweeper, Nagios and Splunk
  3. Monitor a wide variety of information and network systems that include, but are not limited to telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, servers, storage, backup, operating systems and core applications
  4. Perform basic systems testing and operational tasks (installation of patches, network connectivity testing, script execution, etc.)
  5. Provide timely response to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts
  6. Troubleshoot and provide first level support for any technology issue related to PCs, Printers, Laptops, PC software, applications, and other hardware peripheral devices
  7. Record all issues in the problem tracking system (Business Manager)
  8. Escalate problems to second level support staff for resolution as needed
  9. Provide professional and courteous service at all times to everyone calling or visiting the Service Desk for assistance
