Meet Our Leadership Team
Wayne Cook, Founder & CEO
Wayne founded Cook Systems more than 28 years ago and has led the company through three decades of change in perhaps the most rapidly changing industry in the world. Prior to founding Cook, Wayne served as the CIO of First Tennessee Bank, then worked with several leading IT solutions and services providers, successfully negotiating multiple solutions for clients across a spectrum of needs. With more than 40 years of experience in the IT industry, Wayne’s expertise and vision are important elements fueling the future of the organization.
Wayne spends his time championing the organization, providing guidance for Cook leadership, building relationships with family and investing in various ministries in the Memphis area.
Brad Weeks, Senior Executive
Brad joined Cook as the President/COO in February 2016. Prior to Cook, he worked with KPMG and was a co-founder of a $500 million boutique investment firm (Ergon Capital) that both predicted and successfully navigated the 2008 financial crisis. During his time with Ergon, Brad led the research and investment team in evaluating opportunities involving over 500 large organizations. This experience provides a depth and breadth of understanding about trends and risk assessment unique to the IT solutions industry. Brad brings a rare, fresh perspective to client service, corporate culture and risk assessment.
Brad spends his time leading Cook, spending time with family, advising various nonprofit organizations and mentoring young leaders.
Allen Coleman, Executive Vice President of Business Development
Allen joined Cook Systems as EVP of Business Development in September of 2019. Allen has over 15 years of experience in the IT Staffing and Services industry with a focus on providing IT Solutions and Managed Services to Fortune 100 customers. Allen built and led a $70M Solutions line of business for his previous employer and looks to grow Cook Systems' solutions capability with this experience. Part of Allen’s success was in partnering with Cook Systems for the past 7 years to leverage their FastTrack developers to staff his Managed Services teams. Allen has also had a successful career on the customer side of IT and held CIO level roles at Citigroup Mortgage and AAA.
Allen, and his wife Vickie of 33 years, support a variety of charitable causes including a scholarship at Vickie’s alma mater and Big Brother / Big Sisters, where they have two “littles” they mentor and volunteer at their church.
Christine Caruso, Chief Financial Officer
Christine became the CFO at Cook in 2002. Prior to joining Cook, Christine worked in the technology services industry for more than 20 years providing consistency, integrity and innovation managing financial systems and information. Christine is a foundational member of the Cook leadership team, providing strategic planning and direction. Her tenacity and diligence is deeply appreciated and valued by the team.
Christine spends her time leading Cook, developing professional relationships and enjoying time away at the lake house with her husband and a lively team of german shepherds.
